This unique experience enabled Clare to work out what it takes to keep elite athletes at the top of their game. It is this experience that she endeavours to bring to her current practice.

In 2006 Clare set up Back into Action Physiotherapy near Tewkesbury with the aim of providing accurate diagnosis and high quality treatment to sporting and non sporting people alike. Since then the business has gone from strength to strength.

The Clinic has strong links with local sports clubs including Gloucester City Swimming Club, Gloucestershire Lawn Tennis Association, Tewkesbury Athletics Club, Moseley Rugby Club, Old Pats Rugby Club as well as many other local running, triathlon and rugby clubs.

Since 2002 Clare has lectured extensively on pelvic pain in pregnancy and postnatally. She is now a specialist in this area and has patients visiting the clinic from all over the country. Clare works closely with the Pelvic Partnership, the support group for women with this condition.

In her spare time Clare runs the odd half marathon, enjoys mountain biking and has a passion for skiing.
