James Clapp

James Clapp qualified from Oxford Brookes University with BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 2008. 

Since qualifying James has worked within the NHS and privately throughout Gloucestershire in a variety of settings. James joined us in 2013 and previously worked within the Gloucestershire Children and young peoples team as the special interest team lead for musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

James Clapp qualified from Oxford Brookes University with BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 2008. 

Since qualifying James has worked within the NHS and privately throughout Gloucestershire in a variety of settings. For the last three years James has worked within the Gloucestershire Children and young peoples team as the special interest team lead for musculoskeletal physiotherapy. This has lead to him treating a wide range of musculoskeletal sports injuries which has included treatment national and international athletes.  Since specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy James has completed his training in acupuncture and kinesio taping along with developing his manual therapy skills. He has a passion for returning people to all they want to do in life and has a strong belief in being able to complete all exercises he give out. 

In his spare time James is a real adventurer having trekked to Everest base camp and completed the three peaks challenge in under 23 hours. James also enjoys skiing, running and cycling and is often found in the vicinity of cleeve hill completing one sporting activity or another.
