Kirsty Greenwood

Kirsty Greenwood qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of the West of England in Bristol in 2001. She gained her initial experience down on the South Coast in Bournemouth and Poole, developing a sound clinical grounding in all aspects of physiotherapy.

Kirsty Greenwood qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of the West of England in Bristol in 2001. She gained her initial experience down on the South Coast in Bournemouth and Poole, developing a sound clinical grounding in all aspects of physiotherapy.

Kirsty then moved to a large tertiary teaching hospital in Nottingham where she worked at a senior level attaining a great depth of experience across all aspects of musculoskeletal medicine. Working closely with Consultant Surgeons and Physicians in an extended scope role, Kirsty has extensive experience in all aspects of hand injuries, post-operative sports injury rehabilitation and management of acute injuries in the Accident and Emergency setting. 

She spent a year working exclusively in the Nottingham Shoulder and Elbow Unit treating patients with a wide range of upper limb injuries, including patients with multi-directional instability. Kirsty also worked alongside Spinal Surgeons in a clinic setting and has a special interest in treating back and neck pain.

In 2010 she moved to Worcester and has worked in private practice and occupational health before joining the Back into Action team in 2016. Kirsty has completed her APPI Pilates qualification and uses Acupuncture extensively in her clinical practice.

In her spare time, Kirsty loves to swim, ski and climb and spend time with her young family.
